Accompanying my man to a corporate do, I thought, as there was a rare moment of sunshine, I could carry off a 'fashion' look in a Day Birger wrap silk dress with bow detail, dressed down with low heels from TK Maxx and an H & M belt. I was hoping that it struck a balance between, 'I get fashion' and 'I'm not show-y'.
I may as well have been in a red rubber corset dress and thigh high boots, he was utterly horrified, and chose me an alternative outfit that was somewhere between my mum c.1981 and the Queen (will post pics tomorrow).
